Tickets ready to go for Vodafone id Dunedin Fashion Show
Ticketholders to the Vodafone id Dunedin Fashion Show 2005 will see the public premiere of Carlson's new label, Cherry Cotton Candy.
Tickets go on sale for the event on Monday 14 February and can be purchased from Ticketek offices nationwide.
The show will be held on the evening of Saturday 12 March 2005 at Dunedin's historic Railway Station, starting at 8pm with doors opening at 7.15pm.
The Vodafone id Dunedin Fashion Show will again be hosted by John Campbell and Carol Hirschfeld, who proved a hit with last year's audience.
id Dunedin Committee Chairperson Susie Staley says high demand is expected for tickets to the show.
Ms Staley recommends fashion fans get in quickly for tickets to ensure they don't miss out.
Ticket prices range from $35–$70 for each individually reserved and numbered seat.
A $70 ticket will put you right in the front row on the platform, at the centre of the fashion action.
The "ZK Wagon", a new concept last year, is also back after proving very popular with the local student and family market.
$50 will purchase a front row seat in the ZK Wagon, or a second or third row platform seat with close up views of the catwalk.
$35 will purchase a second row seat in the ZK Wagon, or buy a fourth row seat on the platform.
The audience can expect an exciting and different show concept that builds on the success of the 2004 event.
A special feature during the show is the New Generation section, featuring three up and coming new designers.
Recent graduates of the Otago Polytechnic, including the winner of the 2004 Fashion Quarterly Young Designer Awards, have their own section during the show.
The winner of the Vodafone id Dunedin Emerging Designer Awards, announced on Friday 11 March, takes to the catwalk to show their collection alongside Dunedin's finest.
The audience will also be presented with the winners of the Vodafone "Bag me Baby" competition, who will be showcasing their recycled bags made from Vodafone billboards.
Tickets for the new Vodafone id Dunedin Emerging Designer Awards and Vodafone id Dunedin Jewellery Breakfast go on sale at Ticketek offices nationwide from 14 February, the same day tickets hit the street for the Vodafone id Dunedin Fashion Show 2005.
Prices for the Awards range from $15- $35 per person while a ticket for the Jewellery Breakfast will cost $50.
Service fees will apply to all Ticketek tickets purchased.
