Confronting Nature’s Nasties
10 December – 13 March
This summer, come and experience a unique exhibition and explore all of the things in the natural world that can bite,
slash, sting and hurt us!
Get up close and personal with teeth, prickles, fangs, stings and venom and discover how much ouch! different species
can inflict. See live displays of painful plants and animals, take part in our fun trail and holiday workshops, dare our
mystery touchboxes and confront the huge creepy spider in his lair.
Admission charges apply:
Adults $10, children $5, concessions $7.50, families $22.50.

Toi Maori – The Eternal Thread

A major international touring exhibition to celebrate the changing art of Maori weaving, tracing how this art form has
developed, reasserted and reinvented itself, from the finest traditional Maori cloaks to the outstanding contemporary
work of today.

Robin Morrison – Grand Landscapes
28 January – 13 March
Robin Morrison was New Zealand’s best loved and best known photographer. The new SKYCITY Grand Hotel has chosen a
selection of 1000 Robin Morrison’s mainly unpublished prints from the Museum’s collection for hanging in their rooms –
each room will feature three unique prints. Before being hung in the hotel, Auckland Museum will present a selection of
chosen prints to the public in this exhibition, Robin Morrison – Grand Landscapes.
