Maxi Jackpot Winner At Skycity Queenstown Casino
It has been a very exciting start to the year for one local Queenstown woman, who found success in a jackpot win last
week at SKYCITY Queenstown Casino.
The nearly $32,000 jackpot was won on Thursday, 13 January 2005 just before midnight, on the Maxi Jackpot of the
‘Galaxy’ Game. The jackpot has now been reset and currently sits at over $2000.
General Manager Paul Wilson says, “We’re delighted that the winner of the Maxi Jackpot was someone local to the
community and we are excited for her as she’s a regular visitor to the casino. This win will obviously kickstart a great
new year for her.”
This stand alone Jackpot is on a 20 cent game that offers a Mini Jackpot and Maxi Jackpot. The particular game is known
as the ‘Galaxy’ game.
Late last year, another local Queenstown resident won nearly $97,000 in the biggest jackpot ever won at SKYCITY
Queenstown Casino. The winner of this very popular jackpot said his win would go a long way towards paying off his
mortgage.
