Tali's meteoric rise thru the global drum and bass ranks is well documented, born and bred in New Zealand it was in Christchurch alongside DJ Mosus as part of Scientific she first developed her skills and style. On to Melbourne in 2002 to take on Australia and a chance meeting with UK Drum and Bass legend Roni Size, he invited her to MC alongside DJ Die at a gig the whole Reprazent crew were present at.
Needless to say the boys were impressed and Tali was offered the opportunity to join them in Bristol, the rest is history. Tali followed her dreams and last year she released her debut LP on Full Cycle the Roni Size produced 'Lyric on my Lip', signaling the arrival of a strong and talented new presence on the UK drum and bass scene.
The album and subsequent singles stormed the UK charts and were greeted with both commercial success and critical acclaim. Now days she is regularly touring with Roni Size and all the Full Cycle crew and also performing her blazing soul songs out live with a full band.
Tali's back home for some exclusive January summer dates with Hollie G and Zaniah to kick off 2005. See you there!.
www.mctali.com Digital - Timeless / Function - UK "I like my sound big and heavy. Big breaks, big basslines, big dub!" Back to give the bass bins a proper workout, the dubwise drum and bass don, Digital, returns to the Capital to lay down his trademark sound of old school beats and bad boy basslines. Digitals involvement in dance culture stretches back to 1991 when he began hiring his sound system to raves in his hometown of Ipswich. After
3 or 4 years of absorbing the sights and sounds of early jungle, he entered the studio and collaborated with Danny C and Photek. From there he went on to produce genre defining tunes such as 'Space Funk'. After a
solid period of success throughout the mid 90's with labels like Metalheadz, Moving Shadow, Creative Source and Photek Productions clamoring for Digital's creations the Phantom Audio label was born in 1999 . The first tune a collaboration between Digital and Spirit, 'Phantom Force' caused a huge stir, this unique new sound sealed Digital's reputation as one of drum and bass' great innovators.
His debut artist album 'Dubzilla' released in 2002 provided a perfect snapshot of the dub heavy sound he had pioneered. 2004, Digital maintained the pressure with a string of quality dubwise drum and bass anthems, such as 'Getaway' on Bassbin, 'Soundkilla' on Function and the 'Dubclash' EP on Chronic meant he was never far from the front of any true junglists crate.
Do not miss this opportunity to come feel the vibrations as we welcome back the Dubzilla for a sweet soul summer session of the finest rub a dub drum and bass. www.timelessmusic.org coming soon ...
