Tommy have just finished touring the release of their debut album 4000 years. The album has had great success and the band has featured in various television shows and magazines. Tommy are looking forward to their summer tour and their crazy New Years Eve which includes: First Night, The Aotea Square New Years Eve Party in Auckland, then supporting The Black Seeds for New Years celebrations in Gisborne and finally they play the closing set at Resolutions in the CoromandelŠ(wow). After all that Tommy will begin recording their second album.
Age Pryor And The Marvelous Medicine are back! Age and his marvelous musicians received great acclaim last time they played Wellington's Happy. His team includes Tessa Rain, Samuel Flynn Scott, Mike Fabulous (who is releasing a solo album in the new year) and drummer Darren Matthiassen. They will perform tunes from Age's album City Chorus and more. Age promises to release some new material in the new year.
Mon Ami are fairly new on the scene and have just released a 6 track self-titled EP. You may have hear their tune 'Circles, ' a stand out tune on the recently released (ear)th: The Green Room 003.
The Mystics feature two of the members from TOMMY, including song-writing and founding member A.J Hickling. The Mystics have an E.p coming out shortly.
