ALISON MAU TAKES PRIME OPPORTUNITY
WITH PAUL HOLMES
Prime Television Chief Executive Officer Chris Taylor is very pleased to announce today that Alison Mau is joining the channel to work on the new Paul Holmes programme.
Alison will be a Senior Reporter for the programme and will also become Paul's Anchor Host when he is on leave or on an outside broadcast.
Chris Taylor says, "Alison is an extraordinarily gifted journalist and presenter. I am delighted that she will be joining Prime.
"Her move provides a great vote of confidence in both the continued direction of the Prime Network and Paul Holmes' new programme next year. Alison has proven herself as a versatile talent that will be an enormous asset to Prime as we forge ahead to achieve our ongoing ambitions in the New Zealand marketplace."
Alison Mau says, "I am delighted to be offered the opportunity to join the new Holmes team at Prime, some of whom I worked alongside during my 12 years at TVNZ, and for whom I have the greatest respect."
The role of Anchor/Senior Reporter is a perfect fit. It'll allow me to keep doing what I do best in the studio, and at the same time put my 20 years' experience as a journalist to good use out in the field.
"I am indebted to all my colleagues at TVNZ over the years for their friendship, and will especially miss the hugely talented Breakfast team."
Alison joins Prime in 2005.
