Recognised as one of Australasia’s foremost dance training academies, advanced-level students about to embark on professional dance careers showcase their talent in a season of dramatic imagery, urban energy, romantic splendour and glittering classicism.
From the intense emotion of Natalie Weir’s Nessun Dorma and traditional classicism of August Bournonville’s La Sylphide, to the sleek, sexy style of Garry Stewart’s Currently Under Investigation, seven exciting, diverse pieces demonstrate the finest in classical and contemporary dance, including two never-before-seen works.
The New Zealand School of Dance Graduation Season 2004 promises an exhilarating, intimate experience unlike any other. Graduation Season 2004 is generously sponsored by the Embassy of the United States of America, Asia 2000 Foundation, Smokefree Arts, Qantas Airways Limited and Village Apartments.
