THE MOST FASHIONABLE RIDE IN TOWN..
THE MAX YELLOW WATER TAXI SETS SAIL FOR AIR NEW ZEALAND FASHION WEEK.
Fashionistas on the official delegates list and locals looking to soak up a sense of New Zealand's premier fashion event have a new mode of transport to ensure they look the part, even on the journey to the official venue.
Official fashion partner, Max has created the Max Yellow Water Taxi, giving this familiar craft a distinctly catwalk makeover for the month of Frocktober and right through to Christmas.
Definitely the most stylish way to arrive at Air New Zealand Fashion Week or just to get around the Viaduct, the Max Yellow Water Taxi will leave from four points in the Viaduct and Princes Wharf bound for the official venue.
With images from the Max campaign, "Keeping New Zealand Beautiful" on the exterior, the cab is easy to spot. They're even fitted out with a look-alike red carpet down the inside aisle to give you that destined for the "front row" feeling.
To travel in style will cost you just $5 for a one-way trip or $8 for a return trip. Plus present your ticket at any Max store during Air New Zealand Fashion Week for a 10 percent discount on any new season garment.
Supporting Air New Zealand Fashion Week in more ways than one, this year's official bag and t-shirt will once again be on sale in Max stores from Saturday 16 October.
Designed by Christchurch student Hannah Olgilvie, the shirts in black and white are called Passport to Fashion, a tribute to the global hopes of our kiwi designers.
Hannah's signature logo has also been reproduced for the ultimate summer bag for delegates, also on sale at Max stores nationwide.
Passport to Fashion T-shirt $49.00, Passport to Fashion Bag, $79.00
