"Past, Present & Future" - Servilles Celebrates 20 Years at NZ Runway
In what promises to be a 'theatrical spectacular', Servilles - arguably Auckland's best known hair and beauty business - celebrates its 20th Anniversary at the opening night of NZ Runway at 8pm on Friday 22nd October.
Says Servilles' Director and multi-award winner Paul Huege de Serville: "In keeping with our brand's ongoing commitment to challenge and innovate, this will be a show like no other - high energy, colourful and dramatic. And although themed "Past, Present and Future", this is not a retrospective of our business, but a celebration of creativity."
Says NZ Runway's Charleen Oliver: "We are delighted Servilles has elected to celebrate its anniversary at New Zealand's inaugural consumer event showcasing style, entertainment, innovation and indulgence - and can't think of a better way to launch NZ Runway 2004."
Paul and wife Jacci opened the first Servilles salon in a small space in Takapuna in 1984. Today, Servilles employs 200 professionals, boasts six Auckland salons, a luxurious day spa at Princes Wharf and four concept barber shops - together with a centrally located training academy.
Paul himself is something of an industry legend and certainly a pioneer - having won numerous hairdressing awards including the 1995 World Masters of Hairdressing in New York, NZ Hairdresser of the Year three times - and just this year was named winner of a 2004 Global Salon Business Award for Salon Entrepreneur of the year.
