Exclusive Movie Screening And Star Appearance “Quicksilver The Sixth Element” - The Ross Clarke Jones Story
Village SKYCITY Cinemas Queen Street announces an exclusive one-off movie screening of “Quicksilver The Sixth Element – The Ross Clarke Jones Story” on Thursday 13 October at 7pm.
Described as an incredible journey through a radical surfer’s life and set against some of the biggest waves ever surfed, the feature-length documentary will be attended by the man himself, Ross Clarke Jones, who will introduce the film and answer viewer questions at the end.
An adventurer whose intrepid exploring breaks new barriers – from the remote corners of Tasmania to the lush corridors of the Amazon – Clarke Jones’ story is captivating, funny, visually amazing and inspirational. Considered to be one of the best big wave riders in the world, the film is narrated by Dennis Hopper and features other surf legends such as Kelly Slater, Matt Hoy, Doug Silva, Wayne Bartholomew, Mark Occhilupo and Tom Carroll.
There are still some tickets available to Quicksilver The Sixth Element – the Ross Clarke Jones Story which has been moved to the largest screen - the Mega-Screen at Village SKYCITY Cinemas Queen Street due to heavy demand. Tickets cost $15 each and are on sale now either at the cinema ticket counter (at SKYCITY Metro) or on the internet (www.villageskycity.co.nz) and include a complementary surfer themed “goodie” bag for all viewers to take away with them.
