No Infringement By Matua Whangai
Maori Television will recommence screening of its chat show, Matua Whangai, following confirmation from UK producer Hat Trick Productions Limited that the show does not infringe its rights to the format to The Kumars at No 42.
Hat Trick Productions has advised that it is satisfied that Matua Whangai does not infringe on its rights and it will be taking the matter no further.
Matua Whangai will return to Maori Television later this year.
