Art Beat Holiday Programme
Young artists are in for a treat in the North West of the city. An exciting series of art workshops will be run during the September school holidays. ‘Art Beat’ is a programme of awesome arts activities such as fabric painting, mosaics, pottery and painting for 10 – 14 year olds.
Each holiday period Art Beat offers two interesting and challenging workshops.
For the coming holidays the theme for the morning workshop will be an introduction to painting, and the afternoon workshop will be pottery with a Pacific theme.
Art Beat will run from Monday 27 September to Friday 1 October, based at the Avice Hill Craft Centre at the Avice Hill Reserve, 395 Memorial Ave, Burnside.
So come along and join in these creative workshops. Learn some exciting new skills and have some REAL fun these holidays!
Registrations will be taken from Wednesday 25 August, at Christchurch City Council’s service centre in Fendalton (Cnr Clyde Road and Jeffrey’s Road).
