The MUSIC EXPO sound:vision 2004 is happening from Friday August 13 – Sunday August 15 at the newly opened SKYCITY
Auckland Convention Centre in Federal Street.
Musical instruments, exotic hi-fi and home theatre, the latest DJ equipment, pro sound, home recording, film & theatre lighting plus the latest in screen technologies will all be on display, with live band & DJ performances all weekend.
The MUSIC EXPO showcases musical technology in all those areas, and provides a great opportunity to see the latest, and
soon to be released products.
Catch the launch of groundbreaking new audio & visual products including the Pioneer DVJX1 – a CD/DVD mixing console that allows DJ’s to mix visuals with music.
As well as live performances all weekend, there will be two FREE music workshops held on the Friday. The first at 11am,
presented by Gosling Chapman on behalf of NZ Trade & Enterprise, is called ‘Business Issues for Performers’. Attendance at this seminar will gain you FREE entry to The
MUSIC EXPO.
Spanning three days and two exhibition floors, The MUSIC EXPO is the first public and trade event to be held at the
newly opened SKYCITY Auckland Convention Centre, and is expected to attract more than 15,000 fans of the audio and
visual realm.
The cost is $10 pp per day, or $25 for a family pass.
