Broken Soul And Sandwiches Presents
LTJ BUKEM AND MC CONRAD (GOOD LOOKING - UK)
THURSDAY 1 JULY 2004 10pm - SANDWICHES, 8 KENT TCE, WGTN
>From 1990 where his revolutionary sets introduced ten's of thousands to the first strains of breakbeat music to his early productions combining rushing breaks and deep bass with lush ambient chord structures creating such classics as 'Demons Theme' and 'Horizons'. LTJ Bukem is responsible for spearheading the drum and bass movement throughout the mid-90's. His highly influential label Good Looking, the seminal London club night 'Speed' and one of the highest selling drum and bass compilations of all time 'Logical Progression' lay the foundations for his vision of drum and bass music. Now in 2004 LTJ Bukem continues to set all corners of the world alight with his ground breaking DJ sets while maintaining a quality string of releases through his Good Looking empire and its affiliates.
The Good Looking Organisations worldwide ambassadors LTJ Bukem and MC Conrad return to Wellington for one New Zealand show only in the intimate surrounds of Sandwiches. It was Xmas 2002 that LTJ Bukem and MC Conrad first set foot on New Zealand soil treating the crowd to a night of aural pleasure unlike anything ever experienced before. The quality of tunes, mixing and vibe was second to none, a premium blend creating the perfect experience. So it is with great pleasure we welcome them back to take the controls and lead the journey fourth into the deepest realms of drum and bass. Come witness the magic that can only occur when LTJ Bukem and MC Conrad touchdown.
