A LOW HUM July Tour #4
Oh Boy. A LOW HUM Tour #4
We've made it to tour number 4, and its time to get a little crazy. Every month with the help of Jack Daniels, A LOW HUM is taking the finest New Zealand bands and artists on the road to celebrate the release of each new issue and in July we're bringing some of our favourite ex-pats back from Sydney to cruise around the country with us.
degrees.K, Christchurch's favourite sons released their debut album Lifelike to rave reviews in 2002. After several NZ tours and some huge shows, they decided to uproot and jump across the ditch to Sydney. Since hitting OZ, they've been making huge waves. Blasting Sydney in 2003, they were touted as one of the most exciting acts of the year, finishing the year scoring a main stage performance at the Victoria Falls Festival New Years show.
In 2004 they hooked up with Australian garage guru Lindsay Gravina (Spiderbait, Living End, Jet ) to produce their mini-album "Children of the Night Sky" and to celebrate the release of this and because we think they are an absolutely kick ass live band, we are taking these handsome boys on the July A LOW HUM tour. Watch out for their flash new vid that's getting spins on C4 and Juice at the moment.
Joining degrees.K in the South Island is Dunedin rockers Alpha Cast be playing their first shows as their new four piece expanded lineup and joining in on the action in the North Island are Wildside booze hounds Paselode. Having just released their debut long awaited album "Taming The Wasps", Paselode have been touring the country solidifying their stance as one of New Zealand's premier live acts. Joining degrees.K for the entire tour is the powerhouse two-piece rock action of The Frank Woo.
