Tonight the fabulous Young and Hungry 10th Anniversary Festival begins at BATS. Come check out these three great shows in a retrospective with The Rising Scone by Mel Johnson, Tuakana Tuahine by Hone Kouka and King of Stains by David Geary.

The Rising Scone Time: 6.30pm A small New Zealand town is suffering a crisis: Its main industry has closed down and it's up to four unlikely teenagers to achieve a marketing miracle that will take their town from obscurity to a marketing Mecca. Written by Mel Johnson, directed by Jacqui Coats.
Tuakana Tuahine Time: 8pm Good mates, a rambler classic and a Scribe gig add up to a wild night out in the big city. This play goes to the heart of what friendship can be and what happens when it's put to the test. Written by Hone Kouka, directed by Sarah Delahunty.
King of Stains Time: 9.30pm Friday night. Wellington, 1996. Full Moon. Six lonely people go crazy. Written by David Geary, directed by Damon Andrews.
