Pepper Shows Solid Form at Laser Worlds

Pepper Moves into Fourth Position at Laser World Championships
At the end of day five at the Laser World Championships sailed off Bitez, Turkey, Hamish Pepper is now in 4th position, with Andrew Murdoch in 26th position, Michael Bullot in 32nd position and Matthew Blakey in 33rd position.
Day five was the start of the final phase of racing which meant for the first time all top sailors came head to head at the regatta. In 8 - 10 knots of wind, Pepper showed solid form in this highly talented gold fleet of 73 yachts, by notching up a 3rd and an 11th in the two races. He is ten points off from 3rd position.
A large part of Pepper's build up preparation for this regatta and the Olympics, has been spent analysing the techniques of other top Laser sailors on video and researching the wind patterns off Bitez in Turkey. It would seem Pepper's efforts are paying high dividends.
