Top Comedians join Variety for a night of gastronomic delight and laughter
Heritage Auckland and Variety – The Children’s Charity will host the 5th annual ‘Gastrocomique’ performance on Monday 10 May.
This unique event is part of the New Zealand International Comedy Festival and combines outstanding New Zealand and international comedy with a menu designed by award-winning Heritage Executive Chef Brendon Coffey, featuring premium New Zealand wines. Master of Ceremonies, comedian Paul Ego, will be joined by the homegrown talent of Raybon Kan, Michele A’Court and Jeremy Elwood.
With one foot in the international camp and one foot now in the local yard, the event’s special guest, Michael Barrymore will add his own unique touch of comedic hilarity to the Charity Auction.
Funds raised at Gastrocomique will go to Variety - The Children's Charity and be used to support children’s medical needs including a grant to the North Shore Hospital Foundation to purchase a special baby monitor.
Gastrocomique 2004 is set to once again deliver a night of gourmet food, fine wine and unbeatable comedy. Tickets cost $140 per person and are available from the Variety office, contact Jennifer on 09 522 3745 or jennifer@variety.org.nz.
