Wild Out West Jazz
Waitakere City Council, Waitakere Licensing Trusts and The Falls Hotel are proud to bring a free concert for a laid back Sunday in Waitakere.
The Falls Park rotunda will see New Zealand band “Grand Central Band”, who have currently release a new CD, bring 3 hours of great jazz.
This is a no BYO alcohol, but historic Falls Hotel will be selling on site and also providing a few chefs and outdoor culinary delights, or you can bring your own picnic and sit beside the Opanuku river and soak up the atmosphere. A voluntary donation bucket will be circulating to support the Pacific Island Mamas who lost everything in the Corban Estate Arts Centre fire two weeks ago.
As the City Event co-ordinator says” We hope this free concert will be the first of many over the coming years in the great parks of our City”.
Wild Out West Jazz at The Falls Park , Alderman Drive, Henderson, 3pm-6pm, Sunday 18 April 2004.
