Prototype is the dynamic debut album from The Video Kid, aka Bret McKenzie of Flight of the Conchords and The Black Seeds.
Wellington release party: The Video Kid and his band The Astronautz at Bar Bodega this Saturday with friends Bunnies on ponies and djs Lord Fader & Tobi Nabuguchi.

Currently, Bret play's keyboards for The Black Seeds, drums for The Dub Connection, is one half of The Flight of the Conchords, has a speaking part as an Elf in The Lord of the Rings and still manages to maintain his cool as The Video Kid.
Even if you haven't witnessed any of Bret's musical projects you will have seen him somewhere on stage or screen. Folk parody 'The Flight of The Conchords' have received critical acclaim in both Melbourne's and Edinburgh's comedy festivals.
