Join the Fried Chicken Sound System as they welcome one of Auckland's hottest upcoming hip hop crews the Insomniacs.
Part of the Breakin Wreckwordz collective Insomniacs are renowned for their enegetic live performances and thought provoking, honest and witty lyrics. Emcee's Tourettes (NZ battle for supremacy national champion) and Muse feature heavily on the upcoming Breakin Wreckwordz self titled compilation LP (May 3rd) and are looking to have the debut Insomniacs LP 'Hand-me-down Pimps' drop in august.
The group has been around for some three years now and have undergone a few line-up changes. The song 'Hey Kids' was nominated for a B-net in 2002 and currently 'Superheroes' has been recieving love on the charts nationwide. Definatly ones to watch.
