Call for Entries for the 2004 Wellington Fringe Film Festival
To all short film makers young, old, funded, no budget, film, DV and all those in between. Have your short film shown at the 17th Wellington Fringe Film Festival to be held 5 - 9 July, 2004 at The Paramount Theatre on Courtenay Place.
To enter simply fill out an entry form and submit your short film before 7 May. You can enter one of four genres-Drama, Experimental, Animation, and Documentary.
Your short film must be a maximum duration of 15 minutes, with the exception of Documentary films that must not exceed 30 minutes.
Or create something especially for the Fringe, enter our Special Fringe Competition by 4 June. Shoot a film no longer than 3 minutes containing a reference to "Orange". We're looking for originality and innovation within this theme. The Festival's mentors will judge the competition and prizes will be awarded after the screenings on July 8.

Background to the Festival The Wellington Fringe Film Festival provides an opportunity for short filmmakers to screen your film in a supportive and non-competitive environment. During the five days, you’ll be challenged to consider and discuss all aspects of filmmaking. You'll have the opportunity to gain feedback from industry experts and fellow filmmakers.
There's no selection process and no entry fee. The only criterion is that the filmmaker must come to Wellington to present and discuss their work.
