Anti-Raelianism Is A Form Of Antisemitism And Should Be Fought As Such
Tel Aviv, February 24th, 2004 - It has become fashionable in Canada, France, Belgium and Switzerland among some
spiteful journalists to publish articles that incite hatred towards Raelians.
The Raelian Movement will never allow them to get away with any of these incitements to hatred and will use the full
extent of the law prohibiting incitement of hatred towards racial and religious minorities to take them to court and
prosecute them.
RAELIANISM is a branch of Judaism, and RAELIANS are Jewish by definition. They venerate the ELOHIM which is the name
that the Jews have for God, and they recognise RAEL as the Messiah who will build the Third Temple in Jerusalem, as
announced in the Old Testament, to welcome the ELOHIM, our creators, who will bring peace to the middle east and the
rest of the world.
Since RAELIANS are essentially Jewish, any incitement to hatred against them amounts to ANTISEMITISM. Anti-Raelianism
equals antisemitism.
As the Grand Rabbi of Israel of the Raelian branch of Judaism, I hereby demand that the legal and political authorities
of Canada, France, Belgium and Switzerland, where my brothers and Jewish ancestors were long persecuted with the
complicity of your government, ensure that the crimes of the past be not repeated and that RAELIANS JEWS be able to
practice their religion with all the respect due to any religious minority, especially in these times where we can see a
rise in antisemitism.
Raelians are Jewish and proud to be so and will have their rights respected through all legal means. They will denounce
any lack of respect guaranteed by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights to both legal and humanitarian international
authorities.
Leon Mellul, GRAND RABBI OF ISRAEL, OF THE RAELIAN BRANCH OF JUDAISM.
