SPANISH SNATCH CATCH! Plenty More Fish For My Tackle Says Local Fisherman. Ace Tabloid reporter Max McManahan has his
headline now all he needs is the story to match.
The search for the truth (or at least a good story) is the setting for ³Scavenger² by Wild Step Theatre, led by
Wellingtonian Will Harris, who¹s just returned from studying in London to premiere the new show. Also featuring Annabel
Himbernon (Spain) and Paul Attmere (UK) and directed by Geoff Pinfield. Wild Step Theatre combines the different
disciplines and expertise that each member of the company brings. From mime to Commedia, acrobatics to story-telling,
mask to clown. This mixture of culture and knowledge produces a result rich in images, movement and rhythm as well as a
ripping good yarn.

The world he writes is dark, sexy and haunting, his characters profoundly pessimistic and whimsically humorous. Someday
he will leave their midst. What happens after Kafka? Kafka and six of his characters are held together, acting and
re-enacting pasts and presents that blur their separate realities. With frenzied attempts to create and destroy, they
lead the audience through a gamut of theatrical worlds in the hope of writing themselves a future. From the pen of Angie
Farrow, directed by Ryan Hartigan.

An emerging force in Maori contemporary dance, acclaimed Atamira Dance Collective perform for the first time in
Wellington at the 2004 Fringe NZ Festival. Featuring three works by leading Maori choreographers Louise Potiki Bryant
(best new choreographer 2003, NZ Listener), Jack Gray and Moss Patterson. With dancers Dolina Wehipeihana (best female
dancer 2003, NZ Listener), Justine Hohaia, Louise Potiki Bryant, Cathy Livermore and newcomer Travis Khan. Following the
Fringe Atamira Dance Collective prepare to take Whare tangata and Te Paki to the 2004 South Pacific Arts Festival in
Belau.

Evil Fiona reflects on her love life and gives us twisted advice on negotiating sexual power play. You will be treated
to witty dance, dirty stories, fabulous frocks, and some serious spunk factor. The show is dark, poignant, funny,
beguiling, erotic, sweet, raucous and swelteringly sexy. As we watch we realize there is a little bit of Evil Fiona in
all of us. Starring Maria Dabrowska, Jacob Sullivan, Kathryn van Beek and Sophie Dingemans.
Golden Boys Season: Sunday 22 - Thursday 26 February Time: 6.30pm Tickets: $15 full/$12 concession/$10 Fringe addict
The Only Good Kids are Dead Kids - Child murder and the death of innocence are themes explored in the new play Golden
Boys by Paul Rothwell. Unfortunately for schoolboy Keith Craig, he is abducted and killed on the way home from choir
practise. Golden Boys is the stories of two people who live on after his tragic endŠ but for how long? Featuring the
cheerful 80¹s hit song ³Walking on Sunshine² and some original compositions and choreography, Golden Boys is light
entertainment tinged with some very dark themes.
