Get your ticket to ride with Dunedin fashion’s big night out
Ticketholders to the Vodafone id Dunedin Fashion Show will be the first to see the Winter 2004 collections from internationally acclaimed Dunedin labels Carlson and Mild Red.
Tickets go on sale for the event on Monday 16 February and can be purchased from Ticketek offices nationally.
The show will be held on the evening of Saturday 13 March 2004 at Dunedin’s historic Railway Station, starting at 8pm with doors opening at 7.15pm.
Mild Red designer Donna Tulloch says she is thrilled to be showing her ‘Box Office Blues’ Winter Collection 2004 for the first time at the Vodafone id Dunedin Fashion Show.
“I’m looking forward to my collection debuting to a home town audience, and I think it will be a very special night,” says Ms Tulloch.
The premiere of leading Dunedin label Carlson’s Winter Collection 2004 will be another highlight for fashion followers and the national and international media attending the show.
Ms Carlson says she is delighted to be debuting her “Wallflower” collection at home.
id Dunedin Committee chairwoman Susie Staley says high demand is expected for tickets to the show.
“We are recommending that people get in quickly to ensure they don’t miss out.”
A limited number of preferential tickets for Vodafone customers will be available at all Ticketek outlets from Friday 13 February until Friday 20 February.
Vodafone customers can book tickets at Ticketek by presenting either their Vodafone bill or handset SIM card giving Ticketek the SIM card number.
Prices range from $30–$60 for each individually reserved and numbered seat.
A $60 ticket will put you right in the centre of fashion action, with a front row seat.
$45 will purchase a platform seat with excellent views close to the catwalk.
Seats in the fashion ‘ZK Wagon’ are aimed at the student and family market, and are available at the special affordable price of $30.
New hospitality tables are available this year for those who would like personal service throughout the whole show.
The audience can expect an exciting and different show concept, with big screen and audiovisual enhancements either side of the new 100 metre catwalk.
A special feature during the show is the unveiling of winning designs from the Vodafone “Call me baby” national competition held for aspiring fashion designers.
