PlayStation2 Friday Arvo Surf Update
Sorry we are a tad late today. We are getting close to Christmas now. Hope you have been good and Santa brings you what you want. A few of you would have the odd wave or two this week with just about everywhere having a wave at some stage this week. Some low life nicked DK's car while he was away, leaving his lady and kids rideless. Losers.
A few plugs for a few worthy events. This weekend is the final of the Rip Curl GromSearch at Muriwa. Get along and watch the future stars! Also tomorrow, the North Wai Boardriders are holding a Surf Sports Sale to raise funds for their groms. Should be some bargins! Last but not least, on Sunday night the Lyall Bay Reef Trust are having a film night at 7.30pm at Zebos. They are playing the new Quicksilver flick Circle One. A night no Welly surfer should miss!

WEATHER SITUATION:
There is a low just moving in to the southern Tasman Sea from Tasmania. There is a beast of a low behind this one that will fester away in the deep Southern Ocean and head this way. There is a large high slowly moving over us providing the sunshine. Thunder storms and lightening in Sydney this morning and pouring down. A sign of things to come maybe.

SUB:STATION Spot of the Week:
Breaker Bay: Situated at the entrance to Wellington Harbour this break is not for the feint hearted or the beginner. She's a man-eater. This baby can make you a hero in the carpark or your beloved a widow. Well not quite that bad. The carpark has one of the best views into the pit without getting wet. The swell comes out the south and gets compressed by Barretts Reef and pushed over on the rock shelf that creates the Breaker Bay barrell. A short sharp ride of a matter of seconds but the adrenaline pumps from the first stroke in to the wave until you flick off.
