New Zealand’s Most Professional Model Search Is Back!
Aspiring models all around the country will have their chance to win great prizes and launch a career on the catwalk when the Cleo Nova Model Search hits the road on Friday 28 November.
For 10 days scouts from Nova Models Talent and Actors will conduct a tour of the country, holding open auditions at Principals stores in six locations, in order to find next year’s hottest new model. The Edge radio station will be at each regional event featuring live links and interviews.
“We are looking for gorgeous, sophisticated, confident young women between 15 and 24 who have the right attitude and determination to make it to the top,” says Nova director Caroline Barley.
“Having the right look is important, of course, but having a great personality and ambition is crucial too. Confidence can turn a pretty girl into a stunning one.”
Last year’s winner of the search, Victoria Mee from Takapuna, Auckland, has seen her modeling career go from strength to strength in the last 12 months.
She has featured on the pages of magazines such as Pavement and Woman’s Day, and Cleo, of course.
She also currently appears on billboards across the country as the face of Max.
This year’s winner also has a pile of prizes to look forward to. As well as shooting a fashion editorial for Cleo magazine and gaining representation with Nova Models, she will receive a $1000 wardrobe from Principals, a year’s subscription to Cleo, a year’s hair care from Cut Above and a Fujifilm 35mm compact camera.
The runner-up and finalists also receive great prize packages, and every entrant will receive a 15 percent discount voucher for Principals, and delicious Dove Divinity chocolates.
So, girls, grab your friends and a copy of Cleo magazine for entry details, and be in to launch your face on the pages of a magazine!
