Sativa Storm the National Album Chart!
Independent Music New Zealand wishes to offer a huge congratulations to 8 Foot Sativa for their superb #6 debut in the RIANZ album chart this week. Well done boys and good luck on your Australian tour. Massive cheers also to their record label Intergalactic Records and their distributors Global Routes for their hard work which has been justly rewarded - wicked effort!
Pats on the back also go out to other members of the IMNZ family who are doing nicely this week:
Albums Minuit - ‘The 88’ from Tardus Music is at number 29 and has been charting for 6 weeks.
Katchafire - ‘Revival’ on Mai Music is at 44 and has been in the album chart for 19 weeks.
And well done also to ‘The Warratahs Collection’ from Pagan which recently spent 6 weeks on the album chart.
Singles Three The Hard Way - ‘It’s On (Move To This)’ on Joy is at number 6 and was the number 1 single last week!
Mareko - ‘Mareko (Here To Stay)’ on Dawn Raid is at number 22, the song’s been in the chart for 11 weeks (and a special mention must be made of the album ‘White Sunday’ which had its own huge debut at number 4!)
Katchafire - ‘Get Away’ from Mai Music is at number 48 and has been charting for 8 weeks.
