STAB is here! Yes that's right the fab season that is STAB 2003: A Theatre Revolution starts this Friday with Just Add
Water's DnA - an opera without singing. Story by Virgil, opera by Purcell, composition by Just Add Water.
Sunday night sees an extra special performance of DnA to help raise funds after the co-op's sound and video equipment
was stolen - so if you want to make an extra koha on top of buying your ticket to the show please come along.
DnA is followed by The Bacchae, presented by the Bacchanals and The Rise and Fall or the Fall and Rise of Dinky Jon,
with Jonny Brugh directed by Jeremy Randerson - be in quick to get your limited edition season ticketand see all three

Just Add Water presents a powerful story about fate, love, and destiny. Based on Henry Purcell¹s opera Dido and Aeneas,
DnA is an opera with a difference it is an opera without singing.
Created especially for the STAB 2003 season, Purcell¹s music and the emotional entanglements of Dido and Aeneas are
expressed through a synthesis of sound, movement and gesture, rather than with words and song.
Brewing together a potent mix of influences, including Robert Le Page, Star Trek, 1950¹s costume and kitchen design,
Just Add Water creates the emotional impact of the story and themes of this classic opera.
Things are not always what they seemŠ at times the audience will only be able to hear what is occurring and at other
times they will have full aural access to the action. This performance is a work of epic proportions, played out on a
miniature scale.
Just Add Water comprises of several Wellington artists including Miranda Manasiadis, Nigel Collins, Jacqueline Coats,
Ludmila Zelenda, Sebastian Morgan-Lynch, Justin Gregory and Marianne Taylor.
