Foundation Trust Board Announces New Trustees

NZSO FOUNDATION TRUST BOARD ANNOUNCES NEW TRUSTEES
The New Zealand Symphony Orchestra Trust Board is pleased to announce the following appointments to the Board.
Dame Catherine Tizard: Auckland. Patron of the NZSO; former Mayor of Auckland and Governor General of NZ; Chair - Sir Edmund Hillary Trust; Deputy-Chair- Kiri te Kanawa Trust; Co-Patron of NBR NZ Opera and Patron of APO. Chris Finlayson: Wellington. Barrister, Trustee of the Arts Foundation and NZ String Quartet Trust; former Chair of the Arts Board of Creative New Zealand. Chris Doig: Christchurch. Well-known opera singer; Director of SPARC, The Halberg Trust and Creative Industries Trust; former Director of NBR NZ Opera, Canterbury Opera and Sporting Frontiers.
They join Peter Rowe - Chairman, Diana Fenwick - Deputy-Chairman and Ian Fraser and replace outgoing trustees, Barry Colman, Michael Stiassny and Warren Paine. The Foundation supports the ongoing success of the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra to ensure its role and its benefit to New Zealand continue for generations to come.
