Creative and talented people should register now for the 2004 Fringe NZ Festival: Revelation.
“Its a startling list of performers, musicians, media activists, actors, photographers, designers, fashionistas, visual artists in New Zealand who are part of the creed and take part in Fringe NZ,” says Tim Renner, Fringe NZ Director. “For over a decade we have presented innovative, energizing, boundary crossing art works.”
The artistic whirlwind that is Fringe NZ, is calling for those with innovative creative spirit to enroll their acts by November 24 2003, or apply for Fringe NZ grants by November 10 2003. A free workshop will explain the funding criteria for grants and venue criteria for BATS Theatre: Thursday 9 October, 4pm at Fringe NZ, level 1 58-60 Victoria Street, Wellington. “This is the opportunity to ask questions and learn about the Fringe, how we fund innovative, new, New Zealand art and how to get the best out of your venue.” This is the 8th of 10 national workshops on producing acts for Fringe NZ.
The 2004 Fringe NZ Festival: Revelation will take place in Wellington between Friday 14 February and Sunday 14 March 2004.
Fringe NZ is a cultural and artistic experience that provides the opportunity for anybody to create and present any art form. It is an artist and event driven festival that allows for stimulating and diverse work that has something for everyone (except fuddie-duddies).
