IT’S A NEW GROOVE!
Real Groove relaunches 01 September
Real Groove magazine is turning up the heat another notch in September. As one of the longest running specialist music
and entertainment magazines in the country, it has a redesigned look, inside and out.
To celebrate its 11th birthday Real Groove has had a major design overhaul. It is bigger in size with a high gloss
cover, an improved paper quality and the format has changed. The content is greater with continued focus on quality and
editorial excellence. The magazine's new look is intended to reflect its content effectively, as well its broad and long
established appeal. Real Groove continues to maintain and improve its commitment to high quality production and value
for money.
“In the recent Nielsen readership results, we gained another 12,000 readers, or a 28% percent increase on a year ago
which is an outstanding result” says Publisher Chris Hart. “We are really happy with the results as it signals that New
Zealand readers clearly want a publication that's written with their needs in mind, which is what Real Groove is all
about. In recognition of this, we have redesigned the magazine making it bigger, bolder and more accessible than ever
before which I am sure our readers are going to appreciate.”
Real Groove offers a powerful and trusted environment for both advertisers and readers talking to a well-defined and
otherwise difficult to reach target audience.
Since its first issue in August 92, when Warren Zevon graced the front cover, to today with Pharrell Williams fronting
the magazine, Real Groove has consistently and admirably walked down the side of the road. And this new look reinforces
the magazine’s ability to face the changes, grow in size and stature and still remain the best music and entertainment
magazine nationwide.
