Cloud Nine Children's Series in association with The Dominion Post
Norwegian musical clown Melvin Tix last appeared with the NZSO in 1996. In
2003 this conducting, brass playing, balloon making genius will perform a
series of family concerts with the NZSO. Tix uses humour as well as musical
skill to introduce young people to the orchestra with well known favourites
like his own "Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra"
