Trust Board Renews Museum Director’s Contract
The Chairman of the Auckland Museum Trust Board, Mr Bruce Anderson, announced today that an employment contract had been renewed for a further four-year term with Dr Rodney Wilson, director of Auckland Museum.
Mr Anderson says that the next four years at the Museum will be momentous ones when it is expected to commence and complete the construction of a $46.5m atrium building in the rear of the Museum’s southern courtyard, as well as increasing the Museum’s audience and visitation levels. “Dr Wilson’s skills and experience will be of great assistance in achieving our vision for the future,” he said.
The Museum Trust Board is pleased that Dr Wilson will lead the Museum’s major development over the next four years.
