Let’s Get It On With Ansell
Ansell, Australasia’s Number One condom manufacturer is preparing for its third, and most exciting, year at the
Queenstown Winter Festival as sponsor of one of the festival highlights – the Ansell Big Air.
Wrap up warm and prepare yourself for the longest party in New Zealand. The festival offers an opportunity to experience
great snow, entertainment, and an exceptional line up of events. But when the sun goes down the combination of cold air,
soft snow and hot mulled wine can often spell romance. Ansell wants people to have fun, but more importantly, wants them
to be safe, so as a responsible sponsor and as part of their activities the Ansell promotional team will be distributing
15,000 samples including an Ansell Contempo condom and sachet of personal lubricant – everyone will be covered! Ansell
is dedicated to promoting condom usage and a safe sex message.
Ansell is actively encouraging festival goers to “Get It On” by presenting its popular new youth orientated condom
range, Contempo, to the Queenstown Winter Festival audience. With four products in the range, Contempo offers a variety
of condom sizes and styles to increase sensation. These condoms reflect fun, fantasy and safety. The seductive and
quirky artwork combines fantasy and playful sexiness with the quality and assurance of the Ansell brand. The range
includes:
Rough Rider: studded for increased pleasure,
Bareback: ultra thin to maximise sensation,
Exotica: tighter fitting for closer contact,
Mega: wider fitting for the big boys.
The top prize at the Ansell Big Air is always hotly contested. Snowboarders and skiers from around the country are
getting ready to show off their grabs, spins and tricks on the big jump at this year’s Ansell Big Air on Wednesday, 2
July 2003 during the Queenstown Winter Festival.
The Ansell Big Air is always a festival highlight with some of the country’s top snowboarders and free skiing
competitors expected to take on the challenge of the Ansell big air jump. The event is floodlit and set to music on
Coronet Peak and watched by a crowd of over 5000 people.
Ansell has a great line up of prizes to reward winners including cash prizes totalling over $8000 and all winners get
packs of Ansell Contempo condoms and funky branded t-shirts.
The event is free to spectators and is visually spectacular. Preliminary rounds will happen from 1.30pm. The final will
start at 5.30pm as darkness descends on Coronet Peak.
Ansell is also sponsoring the Ansell Half Pipe Expression session on Friday, 4 July from 10.30am and a new initiative as
part of the Classic Challenge events – the Ansell Superslide, where competitors will be invited to slip and slide in
creative ways down a 15 metre slide lubricated with super smooth Ansell Personal lubricant– an event not to be missed!
And through all these events, Ansell will ensure that locals, visitors, celebrities, competitors and especially the
youth market are protected during Queenstown Winter Festival with Ansell Contempo condoms.
