Variety - The Children's Charity would like to congratulate the Ford Motor Company on 100 years of motoring.
Ford is a generous sponsor and partner of Variety, both in New Zealand and internationally. From sponsored cars for Variety staff and BASH officials, to the Variety Ford Fitzy Golf Classic, the relationship with Ford is one that Variety values.
“Ford has been a partner of Variety in New Zealand since the first BASH in 1990,” says Laura Langford, Executive Director of Variety. “Over this time, Ford has made a significant contribution to Variety’s fundraising efforts, and we congratulate them on reaching such a significant milestone in their company’s history in New Zealand.”
Ford’s contribution includes being a regular, enthusiastic participant in the annual Variety BASH. This was recognised at the end of the 2003 Variety BASH when the Ford Ratpack won awards for most cash raised and BASH spirit – for the team that best embodies the spirit of the BASH and Variety. Variety has also been the recipient of funds raised at Ford’s special Centennial events.
