The Reilly’s Daughter Duo Play Cathedral Square
FREE Friday Lunchtime Concert, 6th June, Cathedral Square, 12.15pm to 1.15pm
The dynamic duo of The Reilly’s Daughter Duo joined forces in April 2002, and they will be bringing their unique combination of, contemporary, and Irish influenced sounds to this weeks Friday lunchtime concert in Cathedral Square.
Presenting a wide range of styles, with songs by The Pogues, U2, Van Morrison and The Cheiftans, The Reilly’s Daughter Duo have performed in many venues around the city, including The Arts Centre, The Bog, as well as tours around the South Island.
A resident in Christchurch Anna began her musical career playing guitar and singing in the United States. She has played solo, duo and in bands in NZ for the past 5 years and has been a guest artist at folk club and festivals.
From fighting fires in London and playing extensively throughout Europe as a soloist for duos and bands, John brings his extraordinary range of vocal styles, solid rhythm guitar and good sense of humour to The Duo.
Describing their music as “infectious Irish rock dance music with contemporary and traditional influences”, The Reilly’s Daughter Duo will entertain all ages this Friday in Cathedral Square.
