³It's a dynamic, baroque fable of transformation... What really sets ³Middlesex² apart is its warmth and generosity, its pervading air of historical optimism and inclusive, allusive cleverness... Novels as good as this aren't published very often.² - TIME OUT, London The Pulitzer Prize has been awarded by Columbia University since 1917. The awards are given on the recommendations of a board of jurors for Journalism, Letters, Music and Drama. The awards for Letters include Fiction, Nonfiction, Poetry, Biography or Autobiography, and History.
