Hamish Carter, Katrina Divine, Paul Ego, Eva Euguenieva, Ian Ferguson, Sophia Hawthorn, Amie Hewitt, Katrina and
Rebecca Hobbs, Rachel Huljich, Barbara Kendall, Hamish McKay, Kees Meeuws, Waka Nathan, Hine Wehi Mohi, Suzanne Paul,
Dick Quax, Mark Robinson, Alison Roe, Blair Strang, John Sumner, Tony Veitch, John and Elizabeth Walker will join in the
evening’s fun and entertainment.
Gary McCormack is Master of Ceremonies, and more than 500 guests are expected to attend this event from a wide cross
section of business, political and arts communities to help raise funds for The Prince’s Trust. The Prince’s Trust
provides life skills and work experience programs to disadvantaged and unemployed youth.
Rosie Horton, Acting Chairperson of The Prince’s Trust N.Z says that ‘ensuring that our young people are properly
equipped to cope with the demands of a modern society and the needs of their families and the wider community is our
joint responsibility. Since 1995 the Trust has assisted 1500 young people into employment or targeted training towards
employment. Of these, 1100 have been placed into longterm stable jobs. Currently the Trust assists an average of 560
young people on an annual basis. Of these, it is expected that 300 will be placed into work. The annual saving to the
State for the 1100 people placed into work is estimated to be $8,250,000.00.’
New Zealanders keen to spend a night with the stars can purchase tickets to the dinner by calling Toni Durant on (09)
