A new Maori Current Affairs Show has begun on Auckland Maori Radio Station - Radio Waatea 603 am

Funded by New Zealand On Air it is the ONLY in-depth Maori Current Affairs Show currently on New Zealand radio
The show is hosted by former Alliance MP Willie Jackson and produced by award winning producer Claudette Hauiti (
Producer of 'Gang Girls, and Rugby Wives )
Jackson says " the show is a great opportunity to present current affairs from a Maori perspective in 'English' .
Something sadly missing in New Zealand print and media at the moment."
The show runs from 10am to 12pm every Monday and is syndicated through the Maori radio network
