IT'S FRINGE TIME!!!! That's right - Fringe NZ gets an early kickoff at BATS starting tonight with the Ghost of Woody Allen, followed by 17 other theatrical delights over the next five weeks.

PARTY! Yes that's right, as the heart of the Fringe BATS can't help but get in on the loving that is the Valentine's Day launch of the Fringe. We have 3 fabulous shows on Friday 14th and the party gets rocking at 10:30pm with DJ's in The Pit and cheap beer at the bar.

Alan is not feeling himself these days - in fact he's feeling more like neurotic Hollywood comedian Woody Allen. New from the pen of award winning playwright Philip Braithwaite comes a play that shows we all hide behind something, whether it is alcohol, drugs or neurotic aging comedians.

An evening of uniquely black theatre with a bite... Two savagely subversive new works - 'Undine' and 'The Felinity of Wendel' by Paul Rothwell are brought to BATS by Auckland company Theatre Noir, a brand new Enfant Terrible on the NZ theatre landscape.

A dark comedy about relationships - an exciting and provocative piece of physical theatre with live music. This Maori Musical is written by Jamie McCaskill and directed by Simon Ferry.
