· Swiss Yacht Alinghi In Sight Of America’s Cup Challenger

· Swiss yacht Alinghi today won a place in the final of the prestigious America’s Cup Challenger sailing race off Auckland, the Louis Vuitton Cup, after defeating San Francisco’s Oracle by 48 seconds in the best-of-seven semifinal series.
·
· After a decisive 4-0 victory, Alinghi now has until January 11 to prepare for the best-of-nine-races final. Until then, Skipper Russell Coutts will keenly observe the other semifinal between Seattle’s OneWorld and Italy’s Prada, which will determine Alinghi’s opponent.
·
· The ultimate winner of the Louis Vuitton Cup, which began in October will challenge Team New Zealand for the America's Cup on February 15 next year.
