Mai Fm Extends Carefree In Fiji Competition
Auckland radio station Mai FM 88.6 has extended the deadline for entries for the Carefree in Fiji competition due to popular demand.
The competition in conjunction with Johnson and Johnson requires Auckland listeners to purchase Carefree Tampons and send in their till receipt to go in the draw to win an all-expenses paid trip to Fiji for 20 people.
The winner will fly out with 19 of their friends to a Fijian island resort.
Media personality Stacey Daniels - who co-hosts Mai FM's top rating breakfast show with Robbie Rakete - will now draw the competition at 7.30am this Friday, December 6.
National sales manager Toni Urlich says the station has received hundreds of entries from both males and females, and it was decided to extend the deadline to ensure everyone had a chance to enter.
The idea of the competition is to increase sales of Carefree Tampons and overcome the embarrassment barrier a lot of young girls and women have when it comes to that delicate time.
