Finalists announced this Sat - York Street Studios Acid Test
This Saturday (30/11) is the last semi-final of the York Street Studios Acid Test and the 6 finalists will be
announced!! And YAY!! Last year's winners Soda (www.sodatheband.com) will be making a special guest appearance.
The GRAND final is Saturday 14th December.
These are the final deciding stages where $15,000 worth of prizes will be distributed to some of NZ's most promising up
and coming acts.
Performing this Saturday are Krin, Somewhere South, Chris Jones, Eulogy, Dogs on Prozac and MonkeyDannyPuzzle
The intention of the competition is to launch professional music careers. So, the criteria are not only performance and
songwriting based. There is also a strong emphasis on professionalism, marketing and promotion, business planning,
industry knowledge and commercial radio potential.
