Dance For Life 2002
Saturday 30 November @ Phoenix
Once again this year, the Wellington Hospitality industry and its crew are coming together to party - to offer the public both an awesome night out and the chance to contribute to the AIDs crisis in Malawai.
On Nov 30th UNICEF New Zealand will be holding their second Dance Party to raise funds for their HIV/Aids awareness programs and famine relief efforts in Malawi.
Last years 'Dance For Life' raised almost $15,000 from an 800 person turnout. This year the target is $20,000 to go towards HIV/AIDS assistance in Malawi with emphasis on the placement of orphaned children in foster care. We are working with a New Zealand organisation Open Home Foundation International, using their expertise in this area working with UNICEF in Malawi.
UNICEF is a non-governmental, non-profit, non-religious based charity organization aimed at the fundamental welfare of the international child. For more information please go to http://www.unicef.org.nz> http://www.unicef.org.nz
Again this year most, if not all time, effort, production and promotion has been donated for the cause so as to maximize our donation.
