Racing Postponed Due To Heavy Winds
The Race Committee announced early this morning that all scheduled racing for today is postponed to tomorrow, Saturday October 26, due to high winds. An intense frontal system will move through the Auckland area late this morning. A strong North wind, blowing 25 knots and gusting over 30 becomes a shifty moderate to strong Westerly this afternoon. The outlook is not very good as winds from W-NW averaging 20-30 knots are expected on the Hauraki Gulf until Wednesday, October 30. Weather permitting, racing will resume tomorrow with Flight 3 of Round Robin Two.
