TVNZ Scoops Gold At International Promotions Awards
The 2002 PROMAX BDA Awards held in Los Angeles over the weekend saw TV ONE win two Gold awards and one Silver award, with TV2 receiving one Silver award for on-air promotional trailers. These international awards recognize the finest promotion, marketing and design work by radio and television broadcasters from around the world. This is the first time that TVNZ has won at these awards. TVNZ's winners are:
World Class Special Award - 'Something For Nothing'

Best Broadcast Television Promotion - Branding/Image

TV2 Promotions - Russell Bartlett
'The Sopranos' - Phone Call
Best Broadcast Television Movie Promotion - 'Made For TV'

TV ONE Promotions - Anthony Farac
'Trust' - Lexus Sunday Theatre
