LOOT SCORES With the Sponsorship of Soccer's Super Division
LOOT - Auckland's newest buy, sell and exchange publication - is delighted to announce its alliance with Soccer² in sponsoring the new LOOT Super Division, launched this season.
Soccer² is one of seven federations administering soccer within New Zealand and is the largest in terms of competition size. The geographical area it covers is from the Harbour Bridge to Tuakau, catering for approximately 40 clubs and affiliated organisations with a playing strength in the vicinity of 20,000 players.
LOOT Super Division 2002 is the highest level of soccer played within the federation. It is the stepping-stone to Northern League and then to National League. The 2002 season is made up of 12 teams from throughout the greater Auckland region in a 22 round league. This is the first season that the LOOT Super Division will operate and is guaranteed to bring excitement and awareness to the game.
LOOT was launched late February 2002 and has been searching for an appropriate sponsorship link to give something back to the community. Lee Williams, Group General Manager for Trader International Group comments; "Soccer² is responsible for the local growth and development of one of the fastest growing games in New Zealand. We believe that this is an ideal link and offers us an opportunity to support our readership by giving something back to their community."
Nigel Ward, CEO of Soccer² says; " We are absolutely delighted with the joint venture with LOOT. Hillary Commision figues show that soccer is now the number one sport in New Zealand in terms of active playing numbers and we are dedicated to growing one of the largest regional sporting organisations in the country. We believe that this sponsorship is a perfect fit and look forward to watching the progress of the LOOT Super Division on the pages of LOOT."
All the latest results will be published weekly in LOOT.
The LOOT Super Division kicked off on 6 April 2002. For further details log onto www.soccer2.org.nz or pick up the latest copy of LOOT at your local newsagent, dairy, supermarket or petrol station.
