Kiwi Entrants Sought For Fiji Women’s Golf Open

Published: Mon 8 Apr 2002 10:28 AM
Kiwi golfers are being encouraged to enter the Fiji Women’s Amateur Golf Open to be held from July 18-20.
The organisers are hoping there will be a good contingent of players from both New Zealand and Australia to boost the field to its maximum 150 players.
It’s a chance for women golfers up to a maximum handicap of 40 to enjoy five days of golf while escaping the New Zealand winter.
New Zealand entrants can join members of the Fiji Golf Club in their weekly haggle at the Vatuwaqa course on the Tuesday before taking part in the official practice round on the Wednesday.
The open comprises three rounds played from Thursday through Saturday with the field broken into three divisions.
Entries for the event close June 21.
