Salmonella Dub, Aoteroa’s finest dub artists, will be performing as part of the National University Orientation
Festivals in February and March 2002.
Salmonella Dub are a true Kiwi phenomenon.
The Dub sold nearly double platinum with their last album “Killervison.” The new effort, “Inside the Dub Plates” is the
fourth album from Salmonella Dub, and a beauty it is to behold.
Recorded in Christchurch, Aotearoa in April and May 2001, “Dub Plates” continues a fine run of form for Salmonella Dub.
Salmonella dub will playing Orientation on the back of an Australian tour where they will be performing in Melbourne,
Perth, Sydney, Bisbane and Byron bay.
Their new single and video "Tha Bromley East Roller" is receiving extensive air play both here and across the Tasman.
The band are looking forward to the Orientation circuit which takes them around Aoteroa before they commence work on
compiling their remix LP of "Inside the Dubplates".
The remix LP tentatively entitled "Outside the Dubplates" will feature mixes from Mad Professor, Asian Dub Foundation,
Adrian Sherwood, Mad professor, Sofa Surfers and others.
The LP will be released in NZ around June but you can expect some vinyl tasters in July.
